Suitable for floors in damp areas, covered terraces, or vacation homes where heating is not year-round and slight gaps in the joints are not an issue. The product is stored dry and will shrink significantly (up to 3–4% in width) under normal indoor humidity, so it is not suitable for such applications.

Despite the low number of knots, the panel contains both healthy and dead (dry) knots. Knot cracks, heartwood splitting, and knot holes are typical for this wood species. The best results are achieved by filling these areas and treating the surface with lacquer or wax after installation, preventing dirt from penetrating the wood and making the floor easier to clean.
