Outer cladding
Wood, when used correctly, is a long-lasting and functional outer cladding material. For facade cladding, spruce, pine heartwood, larch, heat-treated spruce or pine are recommended. Our outer cladding products are either spruce or larch. Siberian larch is a durable material for construction both exterior and indoors.
Timely and timely maintenance painting is an absolute prerequisite for long-term durability of wood-exterior cladding, excluding larch, which does not require surface treatment.
Larch has the advantage of its freedom of maintenance on wall surfaces, as a more valuable raw material, the purchase price is higher, but in the longer term when maintenance paintings remain off, it has lower life cycle costs with surface-treated spruce exterior cladding as a comparable product.
By using pre-industrially primed (PM) exterior cladding boards you reduce costs at the site and save time. Priming contributes to the protection already during work the cladding from rain and sunlight, as well as accelerates the work of painting, since after the installation of the cladding can be directly transferred to the surface painting.
