Moldings for indoor use
In our list, you can find options for every taste. Choose pre-painted pine trees when you want easy and durable. MDF moldings are an affordable option, but avoid installing them in wet rooms due to the risk of swelling.
Applications
The most typical uses are door and window spills, as well as foot and roof moldings. Lists are available in the following tree species: pine, spruce, alder, aspen, heat-treated alder, aspen and radio pine, as well as a western red cedar. MDF listings are also included in the range.
We also find heritage lists that are typical of the buildings of the Art Nouveau, National Romanticism and Functionalism eras in Finland. Among the most famous destinations are the Prime Minister's summer residence Villa bjälbo, the Bank of Finland, the Commerce house in Tampere, the House of Ruuskasen and the wooden house block of Annikinkatu. Several profiles originate from historic sites in Pirkanmaa, such as churches and mansions. The name of the products indicates the origin of the profile
Setup
The temperature and humidity of the moldings must always be allowed to level up before fastening. Store moldings for 2-3 days in the state where installation takes place. Room temperature around 20°C and the relative humidity percentage of air less than 50%.
Start the installation by cutting off the moldings to the appropriate dimension. Make the necessary mirages ready. Note! Footboards should not be attached to floor coverings because the floor coverings may change their size and/or move.

Nailing/Screw
Use a finishing pin, nail spacing 60 cm, additionally attach the list at both ends. Fastening to the drywall wall is most certainly successful at the seams of the plates. You can also attach the list traditionally with a hammer and list lobbies. The attachment of moldings to the concrete wall is carried out by “list plugs”. The skirting board is lightly pressed against the floor, for example, with a piece of board and at the same time drilled with an impact drill perpendicular through the list to the wall. After that, the list plug is pressed through the list to the wall with a hammer and finally screwed with a battery machine.
Gluing
For example, the adhesive suitable for installation is: Soudal Soudagrip mounting glue or Gloss Building Glue. Apply the glue behind the list and press the list to stick to the wall. Remove the list from the base and make sure that there is a sufficient amount of glue. Wait a while for the glue to absorb the substrate and press the list again to stick.
Surface treatment
Suitable for wood-ready moldings are oils, waxes, paints, varnishes and pegs. For heat-treated moldings, paraffin oil is recommended and sauna protection for the pine boards entering the sauna.
