Heat-treated aspen differs from an untreated wound both in appearance and properties. The warm brown color can be deepened with oil treatment. The moisturizing of heat wood is small and the service life is significantly longer when compared with untreated wood.

All shovel timber is lengthsorted, the indicated length is not the length of installation.
