When using the product in the sauna, cracks are very easily created in it. When glued, the tree does not withstand the extreme conditions of the sauna well, without it living and cracks occur, especially at the ends of the tracks. When using the sauna, the temperature of the board surface must not rise above 85°C, lest the durability of the adhesive seam be compromised. The appearance of cracks can be reduced by paraffin oil or sauna waxwork.
Oiling further deepens the tone and protects the wood. The product temporarily acquires a nuanced shade of violet when oiling. The color burns completely dark brown most often in about 3-30 days, depending on the amount of oil used, the amount of use of the sauna, as well as the temperature (if installed in the sauna) and the amount of UV light.
We do not recommend using products in public or daily heated saunas, since the adhesive seam cracks in these items easily.
