The pieces may vary in width by 1–4 mm, so keep this in mind when planning installation. When installed vertically, the width variation has minimal impact. In a single panel, the width can vary 1–3 mm at different points.

We sell second-grade products in full forklift bundles; please confirm available bundle sizes before purchase. When estimating the required quantity, allow for higher waste than with standard-grade products.

Clearance items include Grade I (first-quality) products that are sold in batches.

These products are non-returnable and non-exchangeable.

Typical defects that classify a piece as second-grade:

• Partially unplaned surfaces
• Incomplete edges

Defects may occur anywhere on the piece.

Our product uses thermally treated aspen, which has a beautiful brown, hardwood-like surface. Thermal aspen brings natural beauty and durability to interiors. Its excellent heat insulation, moisture resistance, and low-maintenance properties make it a natural choice for sauna benches and paneling. Carefully selected raw materials from Europe and an eco-friendly treatment process using high temperature and steam ensure that our thermal aspen products are responsibly produced, safe, and environmentally friendly.

Shade varies

The shade of thermally modified wood varies between pieces and between thermal modification batches. This comes from the wood's own properties, such as density and moisture content, and from differences between batches. Products in the same order may come from different batches, so shade differences also occur within a single delivery. This variation is part of the material's character, and shade differences between pieces or batches are not grounds for a complaint.

• Sort the pieces before installation and spread the different shades evenly across the surface. This gives a lively, even look without separate dark or light areas.
• Order everything you need for the project at once. We can't guarantee a single batch, but a later top-up order makes shade differences more likely.
• The shade evens out and lightens over time when exposed to light.

Colors in the images are indicative, and your screen settings affect how they look. Wood is a natural material, so its shade and grain always vary. Lighting and the colors of surrounding surfaces and furniture also affect how the wood looks in the finished space.
